The Enterprise CDD was established by rule of the Florida Land and Water Adjudicatory Commission effective March 29, 1994, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, and consists of approximately 1,552 acres of land located in Celebration, Florida, Osceola County generally depicted as lying north of Route 417 GreeneWay and south of U.S. Hwy 192, east and west of I-4, the western portion lying along the World Drive extension. Enterprise CDD is home to the Celebration Place office complex, Florida Hospital, Fire Station 72, Celebration Self Storage, Water Tower Place, and the future sites of Mona Lisa Hotel and Condominiums (currently under construction) and Celebration Community Church, all of which are located on the east side of I-4. Development on the west side of I-4 is still being planned by the master developer, The Celebration Company.
The District is governed by a five-member Board whose members are charged with the operational decisions for the District and those benefited by its infrastructure.
